“Every year on October 1, Canada celebrates National Seniors Day by honouring its seniors, and by highlighting their valuable contributions to our families, workplaces, communities and society. It’s the perfect opportunity to show our thanks to seniors in Canada and highlight their significant contribution. Whether it is through small gestures or a big display of love, there are many ways to tell the seniors in our lives we appreciate what they have done and continue to do for us.”
– The Honourable Filomena Tassi, Minister of Seniors
